Home Visits

If you need to see a doctor but are not well enough to attend surgery please telephone before 10.30 a.m.

The receptionist will need details of your problem and its urgency so the duty doctor can assess whether you need to be visited at home or whether another course of action would be better.  The doctor may subsequently contact you directly.

You can be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.
